Who We Are
In 2000, frustrated by childcare options that felt impersonal and uninspired, Christy Licato (a mother who wanted better for her children) decided to build something different alongside her husband, Tige. What began as a family's search for quality childcare turned into a community school where every day is an opportunity for growth, curiosity, and care.
AmeriMont was created with parents in mind. The Academy was crafted to give caregivers confidence and children a secure place to flourish. Inclusivity is central; programs and practices are built so every child belongs and every family feels welcomed.
Our approach blends the best of Montessori with complementary, research-backed techniques and 21st-century technology to create the most enhanced learning environment for your child. That means carefully prepared materials, child-led discovery, and skilled guidance that helps each child build independence, social skills, and a love of learning.
What started as a personal mission has grown into a thriving educational community where families know their children are safe, respected, and intellectually stimulated.

Music Enrichment
Our music program introduces children to rhythm, melody, and movement, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and early auditory and cognitive development. Children gain confidence while exploring instruments, singing, and participating in group activities.
Soccer
Soccer helps children build gross motor skills, coordination, and teamwork. Through fun, age-appropriate drills and games, children develop fitness, focus, and social skills while learning the joy of cooperative play.
Sign Language
Our sign language program enhances communication skills, expands vocabulary, and promotes early literacy. Children learn expressive and receptive signing in a fun, interactive way, encouraging empathy and cognitive growth.
Gymnastics
Gymnastics fosters strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness. Our safe, structured sessions help children gain confidence, improve coordination, and develop resilience through movement-based challenges.
Yoga
Yoga introduces children to mindfulness, breathing techniques, and gentle stretching. This practice supports emotional regulation, flexibility, focus, and self-awareness while promoting calm and positive energy.
Language Learning
Our language program introduces children to new words, sounds, and communication skills through interactive lessons, songs, and games. It promotes early literacy, cognitive development, and cultural awareness while making learning a fun and engaging experience.
Performing Arts
Performing arts nurture imagination, self-confidence, and public speaking skills. Through drama, movement, and storytelling, children explore emotions, build collaboration skills, and experience the joy of creative expression.
Merging Teaching and Early Education
We provide education and care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and transitional kindergartners.
